Paint Ball

Friday, I had my first paint ball experience. One of Clent’s friends from work was hosting a paint ball tournament, and we were invited. I have to say, it was really fun.

We were only able to play one “round” (albeit, that “round” was nigh on 2 hours), but it was still really fun. We played a game called “The Gauntlet.” Basically, there were two squads. One were the “snipers” and everybody else was in the other. I was not a sniper. My squad had to go from one end of the property to the other, collect a “flag” and return it back to the start, all with avoiding the snipers. The snipers had “unlimited health”, but if they were shot, they had to move to the next area down the line. It was pretty intense. We did unfortunately lose to the snipers, but I still had fun.

After the game was over, it was starting to get really dark, so we retired to the camping area. Did I mention that we were having a camping portion, too? Well, we did, and it was amazing, too. There was lots of fun with the campfire (Tiki torch fuel is fun _), many stories shared, and lots of food, too.

Overall, I have to say I really enjoyed it, and I would probably go again if there was another hosted.
